Overview

The Audio Visual Manager is responsible for excellence in guest experience as related to AV needs, sales and services. The AV Manager is responsible for overall operations management of the department including revenue and profitability of AV department through execution of the business and operating plans and leadership of the AV team. The AV Manager will be accountable for procurement of equipment, inventory and quality controls of equipment and services. The AV Manager promotes Associate engagement, retention and development through effective and engaging mentorship of the Assistant AV Manager and leadership of AV Associates.

Responsibilities

  •  Support a culture that promotes effective communications, service excellence, teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and Associate satisfaction
  • Train, retain and mentor Assistant AV Manager and Associates to execute successful operation of the department.  Collaborate with assigned recruiters to determine and implement hiring guidelines and standards
  • Set short-term and long range goals to ensure the achievement of the departments defined performance metrics
  • Drives guest satisfaction by implementing service quality standards through the AV team; this is accomplished by ensuring execution of written standards for all AV Associates and proper utilization of Associate coaching and Talent Development Programs and tools.
  • Practices responsible financial management of the AV department.  Works with Manager to develop annual business plans and budgets, to review and analyze financial statements, accurately forecast financial performance and to deliver financial results in accordance with those budgets. Also accountable for scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
  • Ensures that assigned assets are properly maintained and protected; through regular inventory accountability, proper transportation, Associate training on proper usage, preventative maintenance and effective security of storage areas
  • Collaborates with manager and corporate support partners to review, recommend and develop Audio Visual SOPs, pricing guidelines, and marketing programs
  • Oversees AV Sales objectives and strategies; analyzes industry trends to ensure market competitiveness   
  • Perform Emergency Response duties as required for this role in the Emergency Response Organization Chart and Plan
