Overview

The Group Rooms Service Manager is responsible to service all Rooms-only Groups as the main point of contact after turnover and all Business Transient Reservations for all three properties. Works diligently to accommodate guest/group requests, manage group room blocks and reservations. Update and maintain the reservation and sales systems, communicate with operations staff, and create and own the resumes. 

Responsibilities

· Receive and review all Rooms-only Groups for all three resort properties from all social segments (wedding, gala, holiday, parties) and from all group segments (corporate, government, entertainment, athletic, association). As the main point of contact to the group, build proactive relationships with clients, understanding needs and communicate expectations across the properties.

· Execute contracted terms including concessions, attrition, and cancelation. Provide timely communication to the client on pick-up, confirmation numbers, and special requests.

· Utilize relevant platforms (Marriott Group Housing Solutions, EMPOWER GXP Group, Delphi and OnQ for Hilton) for pick-up, in house guest lists, and other reports needed to effectively service groups.

· Report pick-up punctually and proactively at Pick Up Meeting, elevate non-standard or post sale requests such as cut-off extensions, additional room needs to DBR committee or Revenue.

· Prepare and distribute accurate and timely Resumes; attend relevant on property meeting to discuss Group Resumes.

· Liaison with Accounting to ensure prompt and accurate billing.

· Post departure, send thank you and solicit feedback for group’s stay to promote ESS response.

· POC for key Business Transient accounts to assist with reservation requests, VIPs, etc.

· Assist Revenue Management to ensure proper processes are being followed in Group Sales and Front office to maximize revenue opportunities.

· Work with VP of Sales and Marketing, Director of Hotel Sales and Director of Catering & Conference Services to identify and execute opportunities in revenue maximization and sales strategies.

Experience Prior experience in sales or hotel operations in an upscale full service hotel environment.

Skill Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Experience Some college required.
